Privacy policy
LAST UPDATED: 6 JULY 2026
This site collects as little as possible. There is no tracking, no analytics, and we set no cookies. The only personal data we take is what you choose to type into the contact form.
Who we are
Mayfair Hill Ltd, London, UK, is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything in this policy, email hello@mayfairhill.com.
What we collect and why
The contact form asks for two things: a way to reach you (an email address or phone number) and your message. We use them for one purpose only: to read and respond to your enquiry. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Simply browsing the site sends us nothing we keep. We run no analytics or tracking, and our own application does not log page visits. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived technical logs of web requests, as any host does.
Where your enquiry goes
Your enquiry is turned into an email and delivered to our inbox at hello@mayfairhill.com, which runs on Google Workspace. We store nothing in a database. The website itself runs on Render, hosted in Frankfurt, in the EU.
Services we use on this site
Three third-party services help run the site. Each sees your IP address as a normal part of serving you:
- Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form from abuse. It loads on every page that carries the form and sends your IP address and browser signals to Cloudflare to tell people from bots. The Cloudflare Privacy Policy applies.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on every page.
- jsDelivr, a content delivery network, serves the stylesheet library on every page.
Cookies
We set no cookies for visitors and run no analytics or tracking. Cloudflare Turnstile, described above, may set its own cookie if it needs to challenge suspicious traffic.
How long we keep your data
Your enquiry email stays in our inbox as a business record for as long as it stays relevant to our conversation with you. Our server logs, which can include the contact detail you submitted, are deleted after 31 days.
International transfers
Google, Cloudflare and jsDelivr may process data outside the EU. Each relies on recognised safeguards for those transfers, such as the EU's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, or object to our processing. Email hello@mayfairhill.com and we will act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle data changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
